Although Antenatal and Baby Vaccination clinics are held on fixed days, all other nurse review appointments can be made at a time to suit the patient – there is no fixed day for these clinics.
For further information, please do not hesitate to ask a member of surgery staff.
Anticoagulation
Anticoagulant blood testing and warfarin dosing can be done in surgery. Please contact reception for further details.
Antenatal
Midwives hold weekly antenatal clinics in the Practice.
Asthma & COPD
Respiratory reviews are undertaken by the Practice nurse including spirometry when required.
Baby Vaccination
A baby vaccination clinic is held each week, please contact reception for details.
Coronary Heart Disease
Annual CHD checks and medication reviews are undertaken by the Practice nurse.
Diabetes
Diabetes reviews are undertaken by the Practice nurse.
Family planning
Repeat contraceptive pills and Depo injections are available from the GP or Practice nurse. For Implanon and Intrauterine Device (IUD/Coil) please contact reception for further details.
Holiday Vaccinations
Please plan early, you need to see a practice nurse about vaccinations before travelling abroad. The nurse will arrange an immunisation programme for you. Most vaccines are available within the practice. Please contact reception with your detailed travel plans and vaccination history.
Well Person Clinics
Health checks are available to everyone, and these include advice on diet, lifestyle, stopping smoking, sensible alcohol intake and blood pressure checks. Please make an appointment if you need to discuss any of these matters.
